Get the Aethernal2 client for Windows. You only download it once: the patcher keeps it up to date.
Install

Unblock the ZIP
Right-click the downloaded ZIP, choose Properties, tick Unblock and click OK. Windows otherwise marks every file as downloaded from the internet.

Unzip to a games folder
Extract it to a folder such as C:\Games\Aethernal2. Do not use Program Files: the patcher needs to write there.

Always start Aethernal2.exe
Start the game with Aethernal2.exe (the crest icon) every time. The patcher checks for updates and keeps the client current, so you never need to download it again.
