Install

  1. Run the installer

    Open Aethernal2-Setup.exe. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway: the installer is not code-signed yet.

  2. Choose a folder

    The suggested folder works for everyone and needs no administrator rights. Windows only asks for permission if the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 runtime that the game needs is missing.

  3. Always start Aethernal2

    Start Aethernal2 with the shortcut on your desktop or in the Start menu. The first start downloads the game files (about 3.4 GB); after that the patcher only downloads updates, so you never need to download the client again. Always start the game this way. To remove the game, use Settings > Apps.

  4. Log in

    Use the account you created on this website.
