1. Seller

The seller details are published here before coin sales open. Coins cannot be bought until then.

2. What you buy

Coins are a virtual currency of the Aethernal2 game server. They can only be spent on offers in the Aethernal2 item shop (on the website and in the game); the items bought with them arrive in the Item-Shop storage in the game.

Coins have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, paid out, transferred to another account or sold, and they cannot be used to pay for anything outside the item shop.

Each package states the number of coins and any bonus coins. They are added to the game account you are logged in with when you buy.

3. Prices, payment and the contract

Prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT. The price shown on the package is the total you pay to us; we add no fees.

You can pay with PayPal or with Bitcoin (on-chain or Lightning) through our BTCPay Server checkout. Fees charged by your own payment service or by the Bitcoin network are not included in the price.

You place an order with an obligation to pay when you tick the consent box and choose a payment method on the coin page. The contract is concluded when you complete the payment at PayPal or BTCPay Server. After the coins have been added you receive a confirmation by e-mail.

4. Delivery

The coins are added to your account automatically and immediately after the payment is confirmed: for PayPal when PayPal confirms the payment, for Bitcoin when BTCPay Server marks the payment as settled (after the network confirmations it requires).

If a payment arrives incomplete, too high, late or after the checkout expired, it is checked by hand: we then either add the coins (and refund any amount paid too much) or refund the payment.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

Coins are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Before you pay, you expressly ask us to add the coins to your account immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (the consent box on the coin page). Your right of withdrawal therefore ends as soon as the coins have been added to your account. The confirmation e-mail repeats your consent and acknowledgement.

If coins were ever delivered without that consent and acknowledgement, you can withdraw within 14 days after the contract was concluded. To do so, send us a clear statement, for example with the model form below, by e-mail or by letter to the seller in section 1. We then refund your payment, with the same means of payment you used, at the latest 14 days after we received your statement, and remove the coins of that purchase that are still on your account.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

If a payment for coins is refunded, reversed or charged back (for example after a PayPal dispute), the coins credited for that payment are removed from your account. If they have already been spent, we may restrict the account's use of the item shop until the amount is settled.

Because coins have no cash value, unspent coins are not paid out when you stop playing, when your account is closed at your request or when it is banned for breaking the server rules. This does not limit your statutory rights.

7. Questions and complaints

If something went wrong with a purchase, write to the seller's e-mail address in section 1 and include your order number and game account name. We confirm receipt and answer within 14 days.

8. Applicable law

These terms and every purchase of coins are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.

We may change these terms for future purchases. Every purchase is governed by the version you accepted at checkout, which your confirmation e-mail names.
