PvP tournaments

Automatic 1 v 1 tournaments by level bracket: register, fight best of 3 (final best of 5) in the PvP Arena rings, win prizes.

Open PvP Tournament in the quick menu (or type /tournament ui). The window shows Upcoming, Open, Mine, Live, Bracket, Rules, Rewards and History.

Level brackets. Beginner 15-39, Intermediate 40-59, Advanced 60-74, Expert 75-89, Champion 90-99. You can only register for the bracket of your level. If you level past the bracket before your first match you are removed (you are told why); once you have played, a level-up no longer removes you.

Registering. Select a tournament in Open and press Register; you can withdraw until the registration closes. One character per account, one open tournament at a time. When the bracket is full, a few more players can still register as spares: in round 1 a spare replaces a player who does not show up (spares must wait in the arena lobby).

Match day. When the tournament starts you are moved to the lobby of the PvP Arena. When your match is ready a window asks you to press Ready (60 seconds). Both duelists are then moved into the bracket's ring; everyone else waits or watches outside the rings. There is no PvP outside the rings during a tournament.

Duels. Each duel starts with a short preparation (buff now, no damage) and "3, 2, 1, FIGHT!". A duel lasts at most 5 minutes; then the higher remaining HP wins. Best of 3; the grand final is best of 5. You are revived and healed between duels. Potions are allowed, mounts are not, and equipment can only be changed between duels.

Disconnects and no-shows. If you disconnect, log in again within 90 seconds and you are put back into your ring (leaving during a fight loses that duel). A player who does not press Ready or does not reach the ring loses the match.

Spectating. In Live, pick a match to watch from the spectator spot next to its ring.

Rewards. Champion, runner-up and semifinalists of every bracket win prizes; they are delivered automatically to your item-shop storage, even if you were offline or your inventory was full. The Expert and Champion winners also get a title for some days. See Rewards in the tournament window for the exact prizes.
