Chat and whispers
Talking to other players, private messages and the chat log.
| Enter | Open the chat input; Enter again sends, Esc closes it without sending |

- Enter opens the chat input. Type your text and press Enter to send it; Esc closes the input without sending. Nothing is sent unless you press Enter with a text.
- Shift + Enter writes a whisper (a private message) to one player.
- L opens the chat log with the last messages.
- Alt + left-click on an inventory item puts a link to it in the chat input.
- The emoji button next to the chat input inserts emojis; see Chat emojis.
This is the tutorial chapter “Chat”. In the game, press H and choose Start tutorial. It takes 3-5 minutes; you can stop it and resume it any time.
