First steps
What to do in your first minutes in Aethernal2, and how the tutorial helps.

Welcome to Aethernal2! When a new character enters the world for the first time, the game offers a short tutorial (3-5 minutes). It shows you, step by step, how to move, fight, use your inventory and quick slots, read quests, use the map and the chat. Every step waits until you have done it in the game, and you can skip any step you already know.
Start, resume or restart the tutorial
- Press H (or open the system menu with Esc and click Help).
- In the Help panel, click Start tutorial, Resume tutorial or Restart tutorial.
The tutorial remembers where you stopped, also after a relog or a channel change. It waits by itself while you fight, talk to an NPC or trade.
Your first hour
- Talk to the NPCs of your village: many of them give your first quests.
- Hunt the weak monsters around the village and pick up what they drop (Z).
- At every level up, spend your status points in the character window (C).
- At level 5 you get a letter to choose your skill group; then learn your skills (V).
- Put potions and skills on your quick slots and use them with 1-4 and F1-F4.
Press H any time to come back to this Help Center.
This is the tutorial chapter “Movement and camera”. In the game, press H and choose Start tutorial. It takes 3-5 minutes; you can stop it and resume it any time.
