PvP Tournaments

Automatic PvP tournaments for every level bracket: register in game, fight in the PvP Arena, win prizes and titles.

All times are Amsterdam time (now CET).

How the tournaments work. The numbers are the settings of the latest tournaments; every tournament keeps the rules it was created with.

Registration requirements

  • Registration opens 0 hours before the start and closes 2 minutes before it.
  • You register in game, in the Tournament window.
  • One character per account and tournament, and one open tournament per character.
  • Your character must be inside the level range, alive and not in a dungeon when registering.
  • Team characters cannot take part.
  • You can withdraw until registration closes.
  • When the bracket is full, the next registrations are substitutes: they can take a free place in the first round.
  • With too few players a tournament is postponed once or cancelled.

Level restrictions

  • Every tournament is for one level bracket. A character outside the range when registration closes is removed, never moved to another bracket.
  • After your first match, levelling up no longer removes you from the tournament.

Match format

  • Single elimination: lose a match and you are out. The bracket is drawn at random when registration closes and is never drawn again.
  • With fewer players than places, the top seeds get a bye into the next round.
  • A duel lasts at most 300 seconds.
  • When the time runs out, the player with more HP left (in %) wins the duel; with equal HP, the one who dealt more damage.
  • A draw is replayed. After 3 draws in a row the match goes to the player with more duel wins, then more damage.
  • HP and SP are fully restored before every duel.
  • You rest at least 30 seconds between two matches.

Best of three and best of five

  • Rounds before the semifinals: best of 3 (first to 2 duel wins).
  • Semifinals: best of 3 (first to 2 duel wins).
  • Final: best of 5 (first to 3 duel wins).

Equipment restrictions

  • You fight with your own equipment. You may change it between duels, never during a duel.
  • No mounts or horses in the PvP Arena.
  • HP potions (automatic HP potions included: they pause) are blocked for both duelists while a duel is being fought; MP potions are allowed.
  • Skill buffs are cleared before every duel; cast your own buffs during the preparation time.
  • Item-shop boosts such as dews keep running.

Disconnect rules

  • Disconnecting during a duel loses that duel, not the whole match.
  • Outside a duel you have 90 seconds to come back.
  • Disconnecting more than 3 times in one match loses the match.

No-show rules

  • When your match is ready you get a ready check: confirm it within 60 seconds. A player who is offline at that moment gets 30 more seconds, once.
  • If only one player confirms, they win by walkover. A player who does not reach the ring within 45 seconds loses as well.
  • If neither player shows up, both are eliminated and nobody advances; the next opponent gets a bye.
  • A loss by walkover or no-show gives no placement prize.

Reward distribution

  • Prizes are delivered automatically when the tournament ends, to your item-shop storage: claim them any time, even with a full inventory.
  • The prizes are fixed when registration closes; later setting changes do not change them.
  • Every prize is given exactly once. Yang prizes are paid as Yang bars.
  • Titles are temporary and expire after the days shown.
